The Literary Escape Festival is a brand new event bringing together authors and bookish businesses under one roof.
We’re excited to announce that the Literary Escape Festival UK will be debuting in Edinburgh, and we warmly invite all authors and bookish businesses to apply.
If you’d like to join us as a vendor at one of our upcoming events, please complete the application form below.
All vendors must submit an application before purchasing tickets. Once approved, you’ll be eligible to apply for any of our future events.

Vendor Access: 09:00 – 14:45 (The hall must be vacated by 15:00)
Market Open to Public: 10:15 – 14:00 (Last entry at 13:30)
Venue: The Binks Hall, Greyfriars Charteris Centre

Please note: refreshments will not be available onsite, so we recommend bringing your own.
📍 Getting to the Venue
🚶 Walking from Edinburgh Waverley (0.6 miles):
Exit via Market Street, turn left, and follow the road uphill (Jeffrey Street → St Mary’s Street → Pleasance). Continue past the University Sports Centre. The red-topped spire of the Greyfriars Charteris Centre will be visible ahead.
🚌 By Bus:
Closest stop: Surgeons' Hall (Nicolson Street). Turn into West Richmond Street (next to Specsavers), cross at the next junction, and you’ll arrive at the venue.
🚗 By Car:
There is no on-site parking, but pay-and-display parking is available on Brown Street and nearby.
